Wild Coaching:
Does this beautiful and wild world call to you?
Luring you out of safe harbor
and into the churning sea?
Knowing only that you cannot know the destination.
Knowing only that your heart aches
with longing for the journey,
despite the dangers, to be as alive as your imaginings.
Stumbling, splashing, gliding,
fully present to your one and precious life.
This, too, is where I travel,
grateful for fellow voyagers,
swimming, diving toward ourselves.
--Chris Heeter
About: Wild Coaching with Chris Heeter is about the journey to yourself, about remembering your own wisdom and listening to it. It’s about the ways in which you move in the world, personally and professionally, as you grow more comfortable in your own skin. What emerges are changes, large and small, and clarity on directions in your life.
Why consider Wild Coaching? Women seek Wild Coaching for many reasons:
- You are on the verge of or in the midst of a transition (work, home, relationship, lifestyle)
- You sense that “it’s time” -- time to look inward, evaluate, ask questions
- You feel a shift taking place, perhaps a part of yourself that hasn’t seen much daylight
- You have a strong desire to be more present, whole, and balanced
- You need to find confidence to take the next step
- You’ve been on a Wild Institute trip and want to keep your adventure alive
- You’ve heard Chris speak and it sparked something that you want to explore
How does Wild Coaching work? It starts with a complimentary phone call. We’ll talk about your situation, goals and budget, then decide what’s best – one-time conversations or a series of them. Coaching sessions are an hour in length and take place by phone. Sessions are $80/hour.
What Wild Coaching clients have to say: “With wisdom, intuition, and gentle humor, Chris helped me face my fears, make important changes, and ultimately lead a more authentic life. While working with Chris, I came across an e.e. cummings quote which is still on my desk: ‘It takes courage to grow up and turn out to be who you really are.’ Chris helped me find that courage within myself.” - Amy, IT professional, following a Wild Institute trip, wanted to explore more ways to bring the natural world into her every day to inspire her to live closer to her heart
“It's as though after my conversation with you, you paddled over in your canoe. You didn't throw a lifeline or tell me anything I didn't already know. You just reminded me of what was in me all along. Reminding me to tread water and then taking exploratory short strokes to taking bold, strong moves to save myself.” Sue, engineer, heard Chris speak and called 2 years later saying "I'm ready." Sought motivation to consider leaving her job, to build her eco-friendly dream house, and to work through the fear of making these changes.
